If you mean the movies, then Paranormal Activity is not real.They are just actors.A man got the idea to write a story about Paranormal Activity. then, someone wanted to scare the whole world (lucky guy, it worked) by turning the book into a movie.If you still don't believe me then answer these questions about the movie and tell me if they make sense. In Paranormal Activity:

• Would you stay in the house and not call the police if anything paranormal happens?
• Would you constantly stay in a haunted house for money at the risk of getting hurt or dying?
• Would you stay in a haunted house just because you want to make a video?

I bet that you and 99% of those who watch the movies would all answer no to all those questions. But the ACTORS played people who stayed in the house and didn't call the police when paranormal events occurred, stayed in a house with ghost being haunted everyday at the risk of getting hurt or dying for money, and stayed in a haunted house just because they wanted to make a video. Paranormal Activity is fun to watch but, don't get scared at night thinking ghost or demons will get you. It's not real no matter what anyone says. So, now just sit back and enjoy it without chickening out. (Or you could pretend it is real to add a pinch of suspense,drama, and Horror. The Japanese version of paranormal activity is not real either because they used actors because supposedly half of the characters got scared,died,or were possessed (as it said in Wikipedia). You can tell this is not real because if the "REAL" brother made videos of the events, why didn't they use those videos in the movie instead of fake ones.
