Not really... Roserade is kind of terrible. Empoleon is great, has only two weaknesses, one of which it is super effective against. Houndoom is really your only alternative to Rapidash in terms of a fire Pokemon... Use Jolteon rather than Luxray. Espeon feels unnecessary, as Psychic Pokemon aren't really useful in this game due to the great abundance of dark Pokemon used by Team Galactic.
Acually, you take out roserade and Hounchcrow, u got urself a pretty good team

in victory road or the way to it there are the strongest Pokemon and a word of advice try to capure giratina and try training luxray near the water in victory road.

A Lucario can breed with a ditto, another lucario, and, but be warned, unless you have a female lucario, you will not get a riolu out of an egg, but any Pokemon in the Human like egg group, such as croagunk or toxicroak, machop or machoke, jynx or electabuzz, or a Pokemon in the field group, like torchic or combusken, stunky , buizel, or even empoleon, or prinplup. Too many Dragon and ground types. A balanced team: Nidoking, Milotic, Tyranitar, Espeon, Glaceon, Lucario. Nidoking, Tyranitar, and Espeon can learn good TM attacks. T-Tar can learn Fire blast, thunder and a bunch of others. Lapras actually works better than Milotic though. You can also switch out the Lucario for Dialga. You will want to have a good ice type (abomasnow works well) and u will want to have electric and fire (luxray and infernape respectively) and a psychic (alakazam) and a grass (roserade) and a bug (yanmega) Abomasnow = garchomp Luxray = togekiss Infernape = roserade Alakazam= lucario Roserade = milotic Yanmega = spiritomb
