It is crime a young person has commited
Yes, many youth have commited crimes. they are protected under the youth crimanal justice act. I know of people who have commited crimes and are not adults yet. Adults commit more crimes but youth still commit some of them.
Negatively!!! As a youth myself and a victim of crime it has become increasingly difficult for me to feel safe in the streets, workplace and even my home. The absence of appropriate role models combined with substance abuse, gender violence and immorality among youth there is a huge negative influence on the youth. Politics, Tendtrepeneurs as well as media and social networks put tremendous pressure on youth, unemployed youth for that matter and thus they resort to all sorts of crime. Government should implement harsher sentences to child (juvenile) offenders as a tactic that crime does not pay no matter how small the offence may be. being leniant on youths create the impression that its ok to participate in crime as the law is on the side of the offenders!
no it is not tough enough becaue the people that do the crime and get caught reoffend within 2 years

The impact of crime on South American youth is devastating. Crime influences children to steal and lie to get what they want and need.
