The day-to-day execution and administration of national laws lies in the hands of the several federal Union Ministries and Departments, . This has been totally created by the Indian Parliament in order to deal with specific areas of national and international affairs. In matters which are deputed to the States, these Ministries act in consultatory and funding capacity.
The Parliament, the Legislative Arm of the Union, comprises of the President, Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. The both houses of Parliament gave consents to all the governance. However, the will of the Lok Sabha always endures in case of money bills. Thus the Government of India, commonly as Central Government also officially referred as the Union Government.
Following are the brief profiles of the Cabinet ministers and their departments in the Union Council.
