There was 24 lifeboats, 4 buckeled. There was room for only half the passengers, but less than half when the sinking took place. if there were more lifeboats, it would have helped the passengers. Than there would be everybody surviving, exept for those who ware ready to die, or a captain.
they used life boats but more than half of the people on titanic either drown of died of hypothermia(1500+).

just over 1/8 of the life boats sank
the white star line put about 14 lifeboats on titanic, the law back then was 12, so they thought they were safe with only 2 over the law. but on titanic, 2 more life boats didnt help. hope it helps
No, even at capacity, there were only enough life boats for about half of passengers on board. More would have been saved if the boats were filled at capacity, but not all.
The Titanic could of had more life boats
