they used life boats but more than half of the people on titanic either drown of died of hypothermia(1500+).
Of the 280 members of the Engine Dept. (not including Engineers), 70 survived (25%).
The Titanic was considered "unsinkable" because of the engineers who constructed the ship proposed it to be to the highest quality and a modernized technological/engineering feat.
Titanic
Definitely not the Captain! Nor was it the engineers' fault, or the fault of anyone on board. The trouble came because the Titanic was not finished when the White Star Line people insisted on a publicity cruise. Most water-tight doors and some water-tight bulkheads (walls) were not in place, so when the water poured into the ship from the ocean, it could not be limited to just one or two small locations. It poured into more of the ship than the ship's buoyancy could support.
BECAUSE THEY FELT LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Titanic's sinking was not the fault of the engineers. It was not the fault of the Captain, nor the lookouts nor the crew.
the features installed by the pakistani engineers. Rest is history.
The ship Engineers were responsible for keeping the lights on, and maintained.
yes and no, also Captian Smith was involved in the crash because he speed up the ship

Yes, according to structural engineers, the Titanic was doomed as soon as it set sail. Of course, the iceberg it hit had a lot to do with the ship going down but the ship also had a weak structure to begin with.

The vessel was meticulously planned by several naval engineers. Many plans were penned in the Drawing Offices, which were onsite.
Tons. There were engineers, boiler men to power up the engines, servants for first class, chefs, waitors at the first-class restaurants, and more
There were 891 crew in all. The departments consisted of: Deck Dept. (not including Officers) 58 Officers 8 Victualing Dept. (not including Ala Carte or Postal) 426 Ala Carte 69 Postal 5 Engine Dept. (not including Engineers) 280 Engineers 45 according to: An Analysis of the Bodies Recovered from the Titanic by Bill Wormstedt (2011).
The purple coloured epaulets were awarded to Marine Engineers by Queen Victoria to recognize their bravery during the sinking of the HMS Titanic. Purple is important in this context because for a very long time purple was a colour only worn by royalty, it was therefore special.
There are many types of engineers such as:aerospace engineers,canal engineers,chemical engineers,civil engineers,electrical engineers,environmental engineers,genetic engineers,industrial engineers,materials engineers,mechanical engineers,structural engineers,systems engineers,just to name a few.Some of which do study cars.
