Natural Resources are naturally occurring materials that have a beneficial use to man.

Some natural resources are used in their natural state such as fresh water, some metals like , gold, timber, coal etc. Others require further processing, for example; Bauxite is turned into aluminum, iron ore is used to make iron and eventually steel, crude oil can be processed into a number of useful materials, uranium can be refined to use in power plants.

A list of natural resources in Canada:

  • potash (not a drug :P)
  • uranium
  • coal
  • oil
  • lumber
  • and many more (:

hope this helped
