Should your 7 year old son watch South Park?

It's not exclusively for 8 year olds, no. The target audience is teenagers and adults.

But if you're asking about the content and it's suitability for 8 year olds, that's a different story and ultimately depends. Me personally, if I had an eight year old, I'd wait another year or two before introducing it to them.

It does display cartoon although bloody and gory violence and heavy drug usage. Sexual content including basic jokes and references to surprisingly graphic sx scenes and even rpe on occasions. And of course there is profanity in each episode, usually very frequently. I know this sounds like a lot for an older kid and preteen to stomach, and that is why it is age rated highly, but overall I'd say it has some great social commentaries and messages, alongside genuinely hilarious humor that can be considered immature, but always funny to me personally.

As long as the kid doesn't repeat what they hear, it's fine for me. But for you? Maybe. Maybe not.

Your seven year old son should not watch South Park. The show has adult language and adult topics. Many of the jokes would go over his head.

Although South Park may be about 8 year olds, I wouldn't say it is suitable for eight year olds...I watched the movie for the first time when I was eight and that's when I started swearing. You should watch a few episodes yourself and determine whether or not you think that this particular eight year old should watch it because it really depends on the child and how impressionable they are.
