A Pontiac Firebird not a Trans-Am
The Trans-Canada Highway is also known by numbers, the most common of which is 1. The Trans-Canada Highway is also known as Highway 1 in all four western provinces plus Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland, and by a variety of numbers in the remaining four provinces. Many people think that the Macdonald-Cartier Freeway (a.k.a. Highway 401) in southern Ontario is part of the Trans-Canada Highway, but that is a misconception. No part of the Macdonald-Cartier Freeway is the Trans-Canada Highway. Highway 16 in the four western provinces is "a" Trans-Canada Highway, but not "the" Trans-Canada Highway. Highway 16 is also known as the Yellowhead Highway.
The Trans-Canada highway is 4,860 miles or 7,821 km long. It travels through all ten provinces of Canada between its Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Ocean coasts.
Trans-Canada Highway connects Blind River, Ontario with Cudbury, Ontario.
actually the first car that he was driving was a 1969 dogde charger daytona, race car used in the early 70s and at the end of the movie he was racing his hemi against a Trans Am with a 6.6L 400 c.i. V8 and would get beat by a 426 plymoth baraccuda hemi from somewhere between 1964-1969 but would most likely beat it off the line, joes daytona resembles a superbird if that's what you where thinking but is not it is the brother design to the roadrunner superbird I don't mean to call your bluff but that "Firebird" was not just a Firebird. It was 1979 Silver 10th anniversary edition Trans Am and it had no slant 6 in it. Slant 6 was made by Dodge not Pontiac. It had a 6.6L 403 Olds engine in it. I know alot about Trans Am's, I'm a Trans Am guy, I specify in them, it's what I do. Now I know that Hemi would have beat the Trans Am but it wouldn't have happened like that, the Trans Am would have kept up and it would've been a hell of close race. But the other stuff was right the first car is no roadrunner but is '69 charger daytona. For the record... the 6.6L V8 would never stand a chance against a 1967 Plymouth Hemi GTX (the car joe dirt drove off in at the end). Agreed, the Trans Am was nice, a good special edition... but you're putting a 426 Hemi with 425 hp and over 500 lb. ft of torque against a trash can that only had 220 hp? do the math, even though the GTX was heavier it still has almost twice the power.
The Trans Am was the performance version of the Firebird.

A Trans Am is a package on a Firebird.
yes
My 1994 Trans Am does, it will go up to 110. I found out that the top speed of a 1994 Firebird or Trans Am is 156 mph.
A 1969 Charger (200mph) is a faster car than a 1978 Trans Am Firebird (123mph).
it will have the 700-r4
firebird trans am
It is called a Firebird .
The taillight of a 1979 Firebird is different from that of a 1979 Trans Am because several different models were made that year. This was to present the complete overhaul to the Trans Am that the company did that year.
