Really the only similarity is that all three of these groups are made of religious individuals who hold strongly to the tenets of their faith. Beyond that, there are serious and fundamental differences. Probably the most far-reaching is the way that each group interacts with politics. Jewish Hassids are apolitical, often not advocating or supplying political candidates, although there are exceptions in Israel. Christian Fundamentalists tend to support candidates and conduct political advocacy, but within a pre-existing party or political structure. Islamists actively seek political power and have their own political parties and paramilitaries to take and maintain power.
