If you like a a dramatic murder mystery anime, try Death Note. If you like gore, and action try Higurashi. Higurashi starts out really friendly, but gets better. If you like ninjas, and action try Naruto. Another pretty good anime is Elfen Lied. If you like comedy and high-speed action try Bleach. Hope this helped. ^__^

Also find an anime you liked then go to Myanimelist and look up voice actor roles or other things like genres, because that's how I found Ouran, after watching Full Metal Alchemist, I follow voice roles like Monica Rial, Aya Hirano and Vic Mignogna
