he killed more than 1 million people before turning to peaceful preaching. consider that carefully before making decisions. at the time India's independence the population was mere 35 crores and now find out when asoka ruled that time the population was hardly 2 million or so .so after wiping out half the populaton someone chants peace what do you call him. a saint.
