They are "opposite" of the northern hemisphere. When it is summer in the north, it is winter in the Southern Hemisphere. Therefore fall in the northern would be spring in the southern, winter in the N would be summer in the S, spring in the N would be fall in the south.

No, it does not. When it is winter in one hemisphere, it is summer in the other. When it is fall in one, it is spring in the other.Yes, thats why we associate snow with Christmas (except for locations near the equator).
Northern hemisphere - winter Southern hemisphere - summer
The northern hemisphere will be in winter and the southern hemisphere will be in summer
The calendar is the same though the seasons differ.
The best bit of evidence is that northern and southern hemisphere esperience the opposite seasons. When it is summer in the northern hemisphere, it is winter in the southern hemisphere and vice versa. If the seasons were dependent on Earth's distance from the sun, then the hemispheres would experience the same seasons at the same time.
Seasons in the northern hemisphere are opposite to the seasons in the southern hemisphere. When it's summer in the northern hemisphere, it's winter in the southern hemisphere, and vice versa. This is due to the tilt of the Earth's axis as it orbits around the sun.
the seasons are usaully switched so if its summer in the northern its winter in the southern
Seasons in the northern hemisphere occur at opposite times to those in the southern hemisphere. For example, when it is winter in the southern hemisphere, it is summer in the northern hemisphere.
The Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere have opposite seasons. When it is summer in the Northern Hemisphere, it is winter in the Southern Hemisphere, and vice versa. This is due to the tilt of the Earth's axis as it orbits the Sun.
In the Southern Hemisphere the seasons would be the reverse of what the seasons are in the Northern Hemisphere

Countries in the Southern Hemisphere (like Australia, South Africa, and Argentina) have opposite seasons compared to those in the Northern Hemisphere. When it is summer in the Northern Hemisphere, it is winter in the Southern Hemisphere, and vice versa.
The southern hemisphere, which is the hemisphere that Australia is in.
winter
In the northern hemisphere, seasons are opposite to those in the southern hemisphere. For example, when it is summer in the northern hemisphere, it is winter in the southern hemisphere. This is due to the tilt of the Earth's axis and its orbit around the sun, which affects the distribution of sunlight and temperatures.
