Songstress Ronnie Spector has NO connection whatsoever with the novel- as you stated (Old Yeller) term refers to a Dog, and his color scheme, not habit of excessive barking as I thought. the novel is not remotely about Bull Fighting. It does deal with an animal sacrifice, though, the Lead adult character ( Father or Uncle) shoots Old Yeller after the animal becomes rabid following, I believe, a snake bite. The sudden-death killing off of a Lead animal character is probably unique in Disney films and it was not liked by all.
Oh, dude, in "Old Yeller," the bullfight was stopped when Old Yeller jumped in to save Travis from the angry bull. Like, he was all heroic and stuff, taking one for the team. It was a real tearjerker moment, man.
Because one bull had to be the "top bull."
In Chapter 7 of "Old Yeller," a notable simile describes the protagonist's feelings about Old Yeller's loyalty and bravery. The text compares Old Yeller to a "big, yellow dog that was as brave as a lion." This simile emphasizes the dog's courage and importance in the family's life, illustrating the deep bond between them. Such figurative language enhances the emotional impact of the story.
he died a terrible ol' death of the yeller spotted fever and never was ever spotted again.
because old yeller was such a good dog they didn't what to loose him

The novel Old Yeller and its associated characters- such as Travis, have absolutely nothing to do with the (sport) of Bullfighting as is practiced in Spain and other Spanish-Speaking countries. It is a Western novel.
