Well, if you don't want to be around around anaconda I suggest you stay away from South America and especially the Amazon River. Some snake breeders have anacondas shipped to them. I've seen classifieds for them coming from Texas or even the UK. I don't recommend owning these as a pet and it's pretty unlikely that you'll encounter one. Unless you are on an Amazon tour :)
