If you want a HDTV connection you need a HDMI cable for HDTVs with a HDMI slot and a Sony PS3 optional component cable for HDTV with only a component connection. If you want an internet connect you need a broadband internet service and connection devices to allow ether ethernet or WiFi connection from your router or modem. For cable internet users that already have a computer connected you need to buy a ethernet cable and a router or a wireless router
