This item boots the exp received in battle. Macho Brace lowers your Pokemon's Speed in half, but raises the Pokemon's basis stat points (Attack, Defence, Special Attack, Special Defence). It has nothing to do with Exp points. I'm pretty sure it half the speed stat while equipped but doubles all evs you get.
It is a powerful electric pokemon, with a relatively high attack and special attack stat. Like all pokemon, it has its flaws, with low defense and special defense. A Luxray can be more powerful if you teach it more electric TMs. It has great potential, unlike Richu, who peaks in power with Pikachu, or pacharisu, who is a single evolution. Plus, Luxray has the intimidate ability, which lowers the opponents attack stat. I hope this provides people with knowledge of this electric pokemon. Other electric pokemon are powerful too, but luxray is highly recommended because of his attack stats.
ev training is culmulative, it gathers the points over time which determine how much of a stat boost u get everytime u lvl up. each stat can receive a max of 255 ev points, and a total of 510 ev points for all stats combined. when u reach lvl 100 the most any stat can be raised is by 64 stat points total with a maxed out 255 of ev points on that stat. Pokemon can gain over 64 stat points depending on their base stats and IVs. For instance, my mewtwo(Modest) gained 88 special attack and umbreon(Quiet) gained 66 special defense.
the Pokemon with the higher speed stat ,I think.
SpD is the abbreviation of the Special Defense stat.
Magikarp has the lowest base special stat with it's sp. attack at 15 and sp. defense at 20.
Use it on a Pokemon it will raise that Pokemon's special defense stat.
Calcium raises the Pokemon's Special Attack stat.
A Special Sweeper is a pokémon with a high Special Attack stat, like Alakazam.
Ice Beam is a Special attack so it's power is based on your pokemon's Special Attack stat.
Natures (not JUST in Pokemon Diamond) give your Pokemon one stat boost, as well as one stat hinderance. For example, Adamant increases attack and reduces special attack. Some natures don't have ANY effect. If you need a chart for natures, I have one made here:
Growth raises a Pokémon's Special Attack stat.
say if it is flame thrower the Pokemon does not make contact with the other the flamethrower does that is a special attack. Where a move like mach punch it makes physical contact and hits that is a regular attack.
It could change Stat levels (higher)
pokemon with bold nature has increased defence stat and decreased attack stat... try to google full list of all natures...
Natures increase one stat of a Pokemon while decreasing another stat. For example, a Pokemon with an Adamant nature has a higher attack stat, but a lower special attack stat. In addition, it also determines what flavors of Berry, Pokeblock, Poffin, or Apricorn (depending on the game) that a Pokemon likes and dislikes. In the case of having an Adamant nature, a Pokemon would like a Spicy flavor and dislike a Dry flavor.
