What is New Zealands main form of transportation?

In New Zealand, our main form of transportation is private motor cars, very much the same as any EU country. We drive on the left hand side of the road and our steering wheels are located on the right hand side. The most popular brand of car in New Zealand would have to be small Japanese 3-door although most NZ families prefer larger 4-door European cars or 4-wheel drive types. BMW, Audi, Mercedes and Holden (Opel) are now popular brands. We also have many Australian manufactured cars here in New Zealand that you cannot purchase in the EU or USA. They are based on the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro (both available in NZ) and are equally as powerful. In the UK, there is an exact version of the popular Holden we drive here in NZ called the GMH Vauxhall Monaro. Our heavy transport fleet consists of the most modern and powerful trucks available in the world, namely Kenworth, Mack, Scania, Mitsubishi, Volvo to name a few. Price of petrol in NZ is $1.80 for a litre of unleaded 91 octane.
