This is a difficult question to answer as children in South Africa does not represent a homogenous group since South Africa is one of the most unequal countries in the world. Therefore, there is a huge difference in what the life for different children in South Africa is like. For some children life is great, carefree and safe, for others it is the exact opposite. South Africa is a signatory to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, but sadly, life is still very difficult for the majority of South Africa's children.
Lesotho sits in the eastern middle of South Africa.
If you are talking about South Africa, then indeed there are many children whom use mobile phones- South Africa is a very civilised country which is very modern, so it would come to no surprise that many children have mobile phones- just like in America and in Britain and other countries. In Nigeria or cameroon the countires are much poorer and less civilised, so parents wouldn't worry about such things as technology but such things as food and water.

What life is like in South Africa is a very subjective question. Given its location on Earth, there is evidence that there is very little rainfall, and temperatures as high as 100 degrees. Southern Africa also contain unique plant-life and wildlife, indigenous to the region.
They are both in Africa :)

It depends on what region of Africa you're looking at. In tribes and rural areas I see lots of pictures of children running naked or with minimal clothing on. In places like South Africa that are more civilized places, children wear normal clothes. It just depends what part of Africa you're talking about.
It varys from person to person but pretty similar to people in anywhere else in the world.
South Africa has leaders who want to help there country, whereas others, like Mugabe, are corrupt and some, like Quadafi, are tyrants.
