It depends where in India. Most of the country is either rich or poor. So in the more poor areas, people wear worn-out Sari's or Shalwar Kameez. Most people have no sandals or shoes. But in the richer portion of India, they wear bright-colored Sari's. They also wear heels (mainly plastic material). The men also wear suits. So there are different tastes like: t-shirts, jeans, tennis shoes. But most people maintain their culture and like to wear more cultural clothing.
