AfricanAmerican that's what it's called

ANSWER:

The name African American is a name for two different meanings. Their isn't such a thing as an African American Citizen of the United States.

African represents that many of Black Americans decedents came from the nation of Africa.

American is the citizenship of those who live in this country.

When it comes to being born in the United States, you are an American Citizen, and that's where it begins and ends.

Irish American, African American, Native American, or Latin American (just to name a few) is showing pride in you heritage.

But, the American half is you're a citizen. Doesn't have to do whether you're White, Black, Hispanic, Oriental, Jewish, or any other race.
