When do you think Damon and Elena will get together in the show?

Elena still can't decide between Stephen and Damon. Stephen is trustworthy and caring and sweet, plus he doesn't drink human blood. Damon is mean and daring but he has tried to be nice Elena, but sadly he drinks human blood. In the next few episodes, Elena finds herself trying to decide who is best for her. She tries to get together with Damon because Stephen has left her and she wants him to be jealous, but Damon is trying so hard not to kill Elena.

∙ 14y agojust to tell u now they probably wont in the book they don't because i have read it and i know, but the closest they get to going out in the book is when Elena is very confused and thinks she supposed to be with Damon but nothing happens, sorry! i saw a commercial for season one episode 11 or 12 the on pamering on January 21 of 2010 and Stefan says that they are but i don't know

My theory is that Elena will get turned into a vampire and she will remember what Damon told her when he brought her vervain necklace back when he told her he loves her and later on i think she realizes she loves him too along with Stefan but that's just my theory :)

Elena in the books definitely falls in love with Damen and kisses him but they never really get together it is still undetermined in the books as far as the series is so far who Elena ends up with, as for the TV series, I only hope so. We will have to watch and find out as there has been no real confirmation to this for the TV series.

In the Vampire Diaries books, Damon ends up with Bonnie and calls her "My little birdie" EWW ( I know very cheesy ). But in the TV show, Bonnie does not seem to be attracted to Damon and vice-versa. If Damon and Bonnie end up together I will be devastated. Team Delena fan 4eva!

According to all the new blogs and the TV Series Guide Book, Damon and Elena do have some romantic moments later in Series 2, but apparently that's not enough for Elena to break up with Stefan. In the current most recent season (season five) and a little before season four ends, the two end-up being together even after Elena's sire is cut-off from Damon. The two are in love as of right now, however, Elena does still think about Stefan but it's not clear at the moment if she's going to break up with Damon to go back out with Stefan, we'll have to wait to see later in season five (if anything happens about the relationship in this new season).

At the current stage in the show do you think Stefan would be happy if Damon told him he was leaving?
no and yes. No because he has gotten close to Damon and yes because hes worried Elena will leave him for Damon because everyone now knows openly (will all knew before Isobel blurt it out i bet) that he loves her and he thinks Elena loves him too, but he also knows Elena loves him alot too, it isn't confirmed on what Elena's feelings are about Damon yet. So the answer to your question is maybe . You never truly know.
