Bayahibe is located on the Southern coast of the Dominican Republic. The town itself is more or less a small fishing village surrounded by a few large hotels. Use the co-ordinates +18° 22' 6.92", -68° 50' 25.93" on Google maps/earth to see Bayahibe village.

There are domestic mammals "cows, pigs, boars, horses, mules, goats, sheep, dogs, cats, rats, and mice" and some wild boars and horses that were introduced by the Spanish, but surprisingly no squirrels, foxes, deer, raccoons, coyotes, etc. the same animals that live in u.s.
