South Africa is a federal state. It is made up of one main national government and nine provincial political systems.
South Africa's flag was adopted on April 27, 1994 after Nelson Mandela became president. The new flag was brought to South Africa to represent the country's political transformation as well as showing South Africa as a new democracy. South Africa's flag colors do not have any significant meaning to them. The colors are black, green, and yellow. The horizontal "Y" shape represents the convergence of South Africa's diverse society, and how it was desired to be one.

It seems that Africa is left out of my "world clock" for some reason. It seems to be barely in the same time zone of Paris, but only because it looks like it is directly south of Vienna.
Oh, dude, Beaver Falls isn't actually filmed in South Africa. It's actually filmed in South Africa's neighbor, Botswana. So, like, if you were planning a trip to South Africa to visit the filming location, you might want to rethink your travel itinerary. But hey, Botswana is pretty cool too, so no biggie!

South Africa seems to be more of a liberal democracy in contrast to Zimbabwe with its Stalinist policies and absurd hyperinflation($1 is worth 10,000,000,000 of their dollars, or something like that). But the ANC did do a lot of work with Mugabe's Zanu-PF, and plus governments change. Your scenario could happen, but right now it looks like South Africa is moving in the right direction.
