Everyone knows that the Playstation Network completely rebuilt there internet connections with top of the line equipment after the April 2011 shutdown. If Xbox Live did the same the would also have to shut down there system. The Playstation Network purchased the best equipment available to completely rebuild there system even purchasing secure building to maintain the equipment. Experience or Opinions on the Playstation Network before the restart on June 2011 are no longer of any value or accuracy on the current condition of the Playstation Network.

Bottom Line Xbox Live gold is not as good as having Playstation Plus with the free games and automatic updates and the Playstation Network offers much more than Live silver for the same price. Xbox live gold users must compare there network to something that costs the same and that is Playstation Plus. Compare your free network that allows you to purchase at the Live Market with the Playstation that allows online gaming.

.Ive had both but when i would go to multiplayer on ps3 it said it had a problem with its server PS3 never says it has a problem with it servers PS3 messages are always about it's network and never mentions a server.

The truth is that where you live and your internet service provider is a much more influential factor than whether it is PS3 or Xbox 360 because the distance and traffic or volume are important in internet speed. Your own connections are more often less than technically the best. Few people have business speed connections and most have cable subject to no minimum connection speed during high traffic times. Servers are taught to be efficient and that means responding first to the the highest and best internet connections because it takes them less time to complete the data exchange.
