The filming took six months, and Massin appeared in the beauty shop scene with the Cowardly Lion, in the final version. She was credited with pushing inclusion of 'Somewhere over the Rainbow', and of the Yellow Brick Road skip, into the music and dance score of the film. Massin and husband Don Carn had one daughter, Jodie Carn, who hosts a talk show called 'Jodie in Malibu'. These shows can be seen at www.youtube.com/jodiecarn.
