Who is stronger Gaara or Naruto on Naruto or Naruto Shippuden?

I think Naruto will be stronger in both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden because he has the nine tailed fox inside him. Altogether there are nine animals with tails like the kyuubi such as the sanbi(3 tails) and the hachibi(8 tails). Gaara's animal inside him only has one tail so Shukaku (the one tailed tankuki) is the weakest out of the nine animals. Naruto will die if the nine tailed fox reaches 9 tails or if the akatsuki like Itachi suck the power out like what they did with Gaara except Gaara was saved by Granny Chiyo.

Though Naruto before the Chunin Exams wouldn't stand a chance against Gaara pre-Chunin Exams.

The answer up there is wrong. Here is a timeline that will explain there levels:

1. At the beginning of the series, Gaara could kill Sasuke within seconds.

2. Once in the Chunin Exams, Sasuke is stronger than Gaara. But if you include Gaara's first transformation, Gaara will win easily.

3. At the time Sasuke runs away, the two are potentially even. Gaara lasted ALOT longer and better than Lee or Naruto once fighting Kimimaro, and Sasuke's Sharingan lvl 3 is stronger than Fox Chakra Naruto.

4. In Shippuden, they are about the same level again.

5. Loooooooooong later in Shippuden, Sasuke and Gaara's abilities are to be determined for which is better. One fact is that the two, and Naruto, could kill Jiraiya or Kakashi within seconds, for ONLY these three have potentially been driven at an impossible scale

Sasuke is way stronger than gaara because of his mangeku sharingan he can burn away gaaras sand shield with amaterestu and his susano is a better defense than the sand shield also their is no way gaara couldve stood a chance against kakashi or jiraya. Kakashi is far more experienced and his lightning abilities could stab through gaaras sand like sasukes did in the chunin exams also gaara vs jiraya please jiraya would destroy him in second in sage mode

yes jiraiya would kill sasuke and gaara but tbh sasuke and gaara have foguht and he had to compliment that gaara was still strong like he was even without the demon i thk it would be a good fight but in the end its unknown and ppl always try to say sasuke can beat ppl without the demon the demon is apart of them once their the jinchuurinki them and the demon are united there is no without demon without if its removed they die
