Chandragupta Maurya, The Unified India's First Own Emperor (340 - 298 BCE)
He succeeded in conquering most of the Indian subcontinent other than southern most Tamil-land and is considered the first unifier of India as well as its first genuine emperor. After Alexander the great invaded into India (BC 4th Century), It gave a spark to the dis-integrated small kingdoms to conjoin and defense themselves. The conquests and heroics had inspired a small boy and provoked him to become emperor.
