Persia no longer exists, it is now called the Islamic Republic of Iran and has been such since 1935. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the current President although elections are due this year and the Supreme Leader (who is the Absolute Ruler and not elected) is currently Ali Hoseyni Khamenei.
