"Holding Out For a Hero" - by Dean Pritchford and Jim Steinman. There are two versions in the movie - Jennifer Saunders (the Fairy Godmother) does the first, and Frou Frou does the version during the credits.
The original song was performed by Bonnie Tyler and first appeared in the soundtrack for Footloose in 1984 but in the same year, it was used as the theme song for the show Cover Up. This version was performed by Elizabeth Daily. The Tyler version was also used in chase scenes in films such as Short Circuit 2 and Who's Harry Crumb? It was most recently used in the films Bandits starring Bruce Willis and Nacho Libre starring Jack Black. And even more recently in an episode of Regular Show. If you listen carefully, you can also hear it briefly in Lethal Weapon as it plays on an advert on TV in Riggs' trailer.
