himy laptop have m2 slot .can i add m2 ssd without removing hdd and dvd driver?

Whether or not you can add an M.2 SSD to your laptop without removing the HDD and DVD drive will depend on the specific make and model of your laptop and the available space inside the case. In some cases, it is possible to add an M.2 SSD without removing the existing drives, as the M.2 slot may be located in a separate area of the laptop's motherboard. However, in other cases, the M.2 slot may share the same space as the existing drives, and you may need to remove one or both of them to install the M.2 SSD. Before attempting to install an M.2 SSD, you should consult the user manual or contact the manufacturer's technical support to determine the best approach for your particular laptop. They can provide guidance on whether adding an M.2 SSD is possible, and any potential limitations or issues that you may encounter.

How do you get rid of Downloader Stubby B?

I downloaded AVG and it gets rid of most all if not all viruses HiMy AVG detected that I had the stubby b virus and that it was contained in a file on my C drive. The file ectension was:C:/_RESTORE/TEMP/A0062464.CPY I done a search on Yahoo for information on CPY files to see if they can be deleted without causing any problems and came up with the following: Sunday, November 24, 2002 at 11:52 amPosted by Jaclyn (1 messages posted) to delete all your C:\_RESTORE\TEMP files go in disk cleanup, then more options, sytem restore clean up and then go to troubleshooting and disable system restore, click ok, restart the PC and your restore files will be all gone. Enable your system sytem restore and everything should be ok. Hope that works for you :-) Jaclyn I followed the instructions and it deleted the virus. Peter To enable the system retore after deleting the infected file I went to Start, Settings, Control Panel, System, Performance, File System, Troubleshooting and then enbaled the system restore at the bottom of the page. Good Luck Peter Just an anonymous( because I don't seek or welcome response)to say that the disk cleanup solution offered by Peter Wood worked for me. If you have trouble finding diskclean, gostart/programs/accessories/system tools/ disk cleanup and follow his instructions from there. I am probably the only person around who does not know that anyway! I would just add that AVG scan finds this virus but has so far proved unable to remove it to vault: so it has lurked for 4 days or so and led to innumerable crashes. So, vote of thanks due to Peter Wood! Well.. I got this virus tonight, healed the file with AVG and now I am missing .dll files and getting error messages about my dynamic link library and DDRAW.dll file not working out for some reason. I am very frustrated and I don't know how to get the files to run properly so I can run my programs. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! Privately e-mail me with a message because I might not get a chance to check this web page again. Thank you. Lisa One more thing...this is the current error message that I am getting right now for a program I am trying to run. The procedure entry point DdEntry10 could not be located in the dynamic link library DDRAW.dll I already got an error message saying I was missing another .dll file, and I downloaded that and put it in my systems folder. I just have no clue how many .dll files I am really missing at this point. thanks again Lisa These are step by step directions to delete Trojan Horse Stubby.B with Windows XP operating system: Go to your web home pagetools tabinternet optionsgeneral tabtemporary internet filessettingsview objectstools tabfolder optionsview tabhidden files and folders check - show hidden files and folders uncheck - hide extensions for known files typesapply - ok save these directions - you will need them again go to virus vault and write down exact path to virus go to my computer and drill down this exact path to the offending file. (mine was sentry.cab\sentry.exe) I stopped at sentry.cab since deleting that will take out sentry.exe. (RC) on bad file and delete it(Mine was a winzip file, your computer will run without it). Go back through the first steps of these directions and check these two:- hide hidden files and folders- hide extensions for known file types Run complete virus scan again to be sure Stubby B is gone - mine was. So I have windows xp and the sentry.cab file (stubby.b) ended up in my Temp directory. Using AVP it was detected but could not be repaired or deleted. I tried manually to do it but still no luck. I found there was only a few posts how to remove this and sysmantec/mcafee and others don't have any info. I tried what everyone has posted here and a few other web sites. I tried the system restore points (in disk clean up) and the turning off the system restore but the file would still remain. I also tried via disk clean up (with all check boxes marked) delete all the files but the frig'n thing was still there. So here is what worked for me. I created a new folder on my desk top called 'Temp1' then I copied all the files from my temp directory (folders and files) found at (C:\Documents and Settings\what ever your user name is\local settings \ TEMP to my newly created folder on the desktop but DO NOT INCLUDE THE INFECTED FILE. Now that I have backed up all my "good" temp files I can delete the whole folder called 'Temp' which contains the infected file. I drag'd the folder into the recycle bin and right clicked over the recycle bin (so not to open it) and said EMPTY. Once it was empty, I renamed the folder on the desk top to Temp and drag/drop it to the Local Settings....directory. One thing is to be careful Don't Drap the infected file out of the Temp folder...I did it and was a head ache to get it back to where I started. Hope it helps!Mike
