Michelle and Jim Bob had Josh. After having Josh, they miscarried while on a Birth Control pill. They prayed and prayed and gave the decision of how many kids they would have to God. Right after that, they became pregnant with Jana and John-David and it just continued!!

∙ 13y agoBecause she keeps getting pregnant and kids naturally follow a pregnancy. Pregnancies are usually the result of sex so we can assume she does that too but since she is married I suppose it's alright.

∙ 8y agoWhen they first got married in 1984, they used The Pill, because they couldn't afford children yet.
After Josh was born, Michelle went back on The Pill and suffered a miscarriage. She and Jim Bob were told to believe that The Pill caused the miscarriage, and they were Pro-Life. Afterward, they threw away ALL birth control and let God decide FOR them how many children they would have.
