Imperialism is when a country attempts to establish an empire by taking over land. Imperialism could be great for the country that is participating in it, because it can bring more resources and overall wealth to the nation. However, they are attacking a foreign land and another group of people. They most likely go to war, which results in death and destruction, and if the imperialistic country prevails, then they are stealing the resources of the nation that used to rule over them. Basically, imperialism can be good for the country experimenting with it, but bad for whoever they come across.
