It's not a really good thing that it wants to because more people don't want it to split up and the people in Quebec can just be proud of their province and try to be proud of the rest of Canada. If Quebec actually split, Canada would be weird. It's like there's Another Country in between Canada because there's some part of Canada on the other side. It would be just like the U.S. because there's United States of America and there's Alaska at the top! Just like that! There's a country in between!
I presume it's in the history of Quebec. The French speaking Canadians were second class citizens. The Brits deported a lot French speaking in the south of the Stats. And the English is a menace for French speaking Canadians, in a continent who has the strongest economy in the World and who speaks English, until now, USA. And the other part of Canada off course speaks English. So French speaking Canadians, who economically are very wealthy, could be independent without problems. They are the richest of Canadian's provinces, the Queen Elisabeth II, queen of England is the monarch of Canada too. That is for a lot French speaking Canadians an insult.
because they will be weak without the help of Quebec.
Because they speak French, and the rest of the country speak another language. So they are afraid of losing their culture. also if they break apart the will critisize other people.
It gave them the right to practice their customs.
After the Rebellion of 1837-38, Quebec was amalgamated with Upper Canada (Ontario) in 1841 and became part of a legislative union. After the failure of that union, Quebec became in 1867 a province of the Canadian federation.
Nothing can be said about the scope of mechatronics. Every country has its own scope. If you want to know about the scope of mechatronics in your own country you must consult the University that offers mechatronics. Or if you want to get admission in the foreign country then you will have to consult that foreign country University. By the way It has good scope in Pakistan.
Both IRA and the PLO want to have their own fully fledged country, and get rid of all foreign troops in their country.
YES. Currently they are fighting to be their own country.
1980 and 1995
No, Quebec is not a country, Quebec is a Province of Canada. Quebec City is the capital of that province. In 1980 and 1995 referendums were held to have the province become it's own country within the borders of Canada, and both times the majority of the vote was to remain a part of Canada.
It has a different language than the rest of canada
They wanted Quebec to become its own country and for the prime minister to meet their demands!
No. They feel they should break away and become their own country.
Why? Because there are so many reasons are for and against the arguments of independence or not. For example, many think it would take to long to change everything to french, keeping the french culture prominent. Also, for the independence of Quebec, Quebec can create there own military and government on there own without the help of canada, britian, and france. Also, there isn't that much of a difference in vote.
Because they speak French, and the rest of the country speak another language. So they are afraid of losing their culture. also if they break apart the will critisize other people.
They want their own country.
The Bloc QuΓ©bΓ©cois believes in Quebec sovereignty and independence from Canada. They advocate for the protection and promotion of Quebec's culture, language, and interests in federal politics. They generally focus on defending Quebec's autonomy and advancing the province's priorities on the national stage.
It wouldn't be considered treason because they would be becoming their own country by an election and political means.
The province of Quebec, driven by the Parti Quebecoi, has tried to break away from Canada to form there own country.
