One is a belief in a God and the other is a philosophy. So not much difference really. Christianity believes that Christ Is the Son Of God & that we are Saved through His Death on the Cross and Resurrection from the Dead. Confucianism believes that we serve God best by knowing our place in society.
When it is rational and therefore based on current understanding. Doesn't mean it is always correct, so belief can change with changing scientific knowledge.
The plan was to show different endings in different cinemas, but the studio didn't agree to it so they just ended up as deleted bonus stuff on the dvd.
why are flowers important
Well Ideology is a way of thinking. So the belief system of religions is their Ideology.
the belief was so important because they believed that the gods controlled everything
Because if Jesus did not rise from the dead - then he did not return to send Paul on the 'road to Damascus' - this is why it is so important. No Resurrection = No commission = No Christianity!
We Christians have salvation only after Jesus died and rose again, after the resurrection.
Because they had a strong belief in it
AnswerNo. The ancient Jews had several beliefs, but most common was the idea of 'heaven' being called 'Abraham's Bosom' (the place where Abraham, their nation's founder went after death). Others believed in the living after death through ones' descendents and so childbirth was important to the Jew - so important that it was law that if a man died childless then his brothers, if he had any, would have to father a child with his widow to ensure his life and his line continued. Resurrection, however, was believed by some. The Pharisees believed in resurrection but the Sadducees did not - hence the aggressive questioning of Jesus about his own predicted resurrection. And also, this helped in the conversion of Paul - a Pharisee - when he met the resurrected Christ on the damascus Road.
That is the central point of their spiritual beliefs and is what they base all of their hopes and studies on.
The events surrounding Easter are the centralpart of the Christian faith. Jesus was executed on a Friday, but on the following Sunday, Christians believe, and a belief based on firm evidence, that Jesus Christ rose again. Because of this unique resurrection, Christ's divinity is proved and his life, teachings and claims validated. Easter Day is the commemoration and celebration of Christ's resurrection and so it is immensel important; some would also say that without the resurrection the Christian faith would not exist.
The resurrection of Jesus is the basis for Christianity; without it Christianity would not exist in its present form, if at all. So the resurrection is just as important today as it ever was.
becaused it connotes that jesus had conquered sin and all men who believes are saved
The resurrection is a central belief of Christianity. It states that even though Jesus was killed by the Romans, his body did not remain in the tomb. Instead, Jesus ascended to Heaven to be with His Father (God). The belief that Jesus rose from the dead is extremely important because it shows that Jesus did not really die and he could not be killed; he conquered death, and his resurrection gives Christians hope, since he is supposed to return and bring about the Final Days. It should be noted that many pagan and ancient faiths believed in a dying and rising god. Also, there is no way to know whether Jesus really rose from the dead. But to Christians, he absolutely did, because the Bible (New Testament) said so.
It is important to Christians as it is the most important day of the year and most important event in Christianity. The Resurrection is very important. St. Paul said that if Christ is not risen that our faith is in vain. Christ came to rise from the dead, so what he did was more important than his actual arrival, which is what Christmas is. People generally celebrate Christmas more, but Easter is more important.
Answer:Because it's Jesus' LIFE that saves us... not His DEATH."...if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; YE ARE YET IN YOUR SINS..." (I Cor.15:17).
