Reverse switch defective or loose. Located somewhere on the shifter. Check your fuses.
Have you checked your fuses? Does your high beam indicator illuminate on the dash when you push the switch?
Check the circuitry to the backup lights. The same fused circuit is probably used for both brake lights and backup lights. As you go past Reverse, the backup light probably is turned on briefly, causing the fuse to blow. It's just a thought, but I'd think it worth checking.
If they made the 1991 Talon in a 4wd model and you can get a donor car, then the price would be what the donor car cost plus hours of hard work. If they did not make this model in 4wd, the cost would be more astronomical. Add on They did make an awd 91 but you are looking into something that is nearly impossible. If you have the ability to put a fwd next to a awd you will see that the fwd isn't made to be a awd. Theres more trunk space in the fwd meaning you would need to modify a lot. If someone can prove me wrong then correct me.
American eagle
I hope this helps, I would take a calculated guess that it is strictly a safety factor (in an emergancy on the highway if your foot is on the brake you are less likely to be rear ended) and if this is indead true, than it is wired to the battery independent of your starter switch If the brake lights are staying on even with your foot off the brake, it may be that the switch controlling the brake lights is broken. Beware; this can drain the battery.
that would be bassist Timothy Schmidt
no it wont. the blocks are different..
i have a 91 eagle talon tsi fwd . iv had the car to 160 but i would not advise it because the car gets extremely light.
The eagle seized it in its talons and quickly tore it apart with its sharp beak.
fuel...
blow head gasket
i would swap it with a 4g63 t
Needs a tune up?
vacuum leak.
bad ignition coil, bad ignitor
some one screwed up
From all the research I have done on the Talon I would say it should match up perfect. the 1990-1994 models are all the same. Your best bet would be to get the part, test fit it, and then install it.
Yes you Can... it is extremely easy! You would do it like you were putting the 92 engine back in it!!
