No. There won't be a sequel to Rise of the Guardians.

R.o.t.G. was a financial disaster for Dreamworks.

It was reported the studio had to take a 50 million dollar loss on the movie alone & and overall loss of an 83 to 87 million for the studio in the 4th quarter. Also, thanks to the horrible performance of RotG, it was reported the studio had to cancel the film "Me & My Shadow" resulting in the layoffs of around 350 employees.

With losses that large, it makes absolutely no financial sense that Dreamworks would consider making a sequel to Rise of the Guardians.

Not to mention, there is no sequel listed in the confirmed movies Dreamworks is either developing or have confirmed release dates for.

ok the person above has got it all wrong. First of all its Soren, not zoren and Soren is a boy not a girl. His brother's name is Kludd not Claud and his sisters name is Eglantine.

The book series of the Legend of The Guardians has 15 books all up. The first movie was about the frst 3 books so it's likely that there could be a 2nd movie. Although thats all up to the producers and stuff cos they decide whether to make any sequels, but I sure hope they make another one for the next 3 books cos then the story continues and its not as if the first movie was made up on the spot like Transformers or something, it was based on the books so the storyline is great and it will be easy to make another move. I <3 THE MOVIE!!!
