There has been no recent movement from a canadian province in favour of seperation. Quebec had a movement quite a few years ago in favour of seperation but a vote put an end to this movement. Quebec voted to remain a part of Canada.
It depends on which bit you go to but on the whole no. Their weather is like English weather if it was taken to extremes.
