you need to replace the vacuum.
The heat shields on the Cherokee models are needed. The floor pans in the Cherokee models are thin and are penetrated by heat very easily. If you have driven one much, you will notice that the drivers and passengers front floor pans get quite warm from the engine heat. This is true with the muffler also. If it is not shielded the floor will get really hot and penetrate into the cab.
the flat jack is under the back seat passenger side
on the floor, to the left of the driver's seat press the front edge or rear edge.... it is what i found on mine...
To reset the oil change required light: turn key on, engine off; press gas pedal to the floor three times; cycle key.
I work at the Honda factory and for a joke a friend glued my cell phone under the floor of your car. Could you please send it back?
my 1998 gmc jimmy has no floor heat but i have defrost and ven heat
Most likely a bad or disconnected vacuum hose to the defrost/floor selector in the heater ducting.
the heat blows out the defrost when it should blow out floor vents only
I would think that is a vacuum or a linkage problem with the heater control assembly (where all the buttons/slides are for changing between floor/defrost/vent) Had a diaphragm go bad on one once, and in a jeep cherokee, a slight collision with a guard rail knocked a vac line off for the vent controls, and ac only worked from defroster.
Vacuum supply to HVAC is cut off for whatever reason. Check under hood for a broken or disconnected vacuum line.
Vacuum leak
you have a fuse out...
There may be several reasons why the air only blows out the front vents and not on the floor or the defrost on the 2003 Dodge Ram. The fuses may be blown, or the heating coil is not working correctly.
you have a vacuum leak. defrost is the default when a vacuum leak is present.
I have still not received any reply to my question. I will check back again at a later date in case it comes in. Thank you.
Yes vents can be in the floor instead of the wall.
Hi, It is not the blend door, that is for heat/cold changes. The mode door could be the problem, or stuck defrost door.
