They vary depending on the drum kit, but the standard sizes are 12", 13", 14", 16", and 22" for the rack toms, snare, floor tom, and bass drum.
The Pearl website states a 30x16 Championship series (all maple) marching bass drum weighs 29 lbs. Also add 5-7 lbs. for a carrier.
he uses a MMP masters series in a silver sparkle finish. 1 bass drum, 2 floor toms, and 5 toms. he uses an Ian Paice signature snare drum as well as a p2002cl double bass drum pedal.
Not positive on exact year but i believe around the late 90s or early 2000s. They were discontinued in 2008.
18 pieces? Even with two snares (one off one on) and double bass drums, you would still need 14 toms to make an 18 piece drum kit. Remember, pieces does not refer to the cymbals, percussion pieces, and hardware. Only the drums. I don't think you can even buy 14 Pearl Export toms of different sizes.

The Forum series by Pearl are relatively inexpensive, and quite good for the price.
