You have a ground problem,take it to a good auto electric guy.
Disconnect the battery negative first, then disconnect the positive. Look at the base of the battery for bolts... you'll have to remove these to unbolt the battery from the bracket. Once this is done, pull up and the battery should come out. Place the new battery. Reinstall the brackets. Reconnect the positive first then the negative.

The Select button and the set button, hold them down together, should reset with in a couple of seconds.

Disconnect the battery, which you should do anyway when replacing an ignition. There will then be no danger of it inflating.

there is no button of switch you have to disconnect the negative battery terminal

starter, solonoid, ignition, battery. if it clicks when you turn the key then the battery is really dead or its the starter the battery could still be jumped if its the battery.
Disconnect one cable of your battery and turn the car key to ignition position two times, connects your battery and turn the car key to ignition.

probably unsrew the old ignition and disconnect it from the cars battery then replace the new ignition and reconnect it to the car battery. you may or will need to take apart the dash board somehow. or you could just ask a mechanic.
