Yes, its possible. You are allowed to acces your iTunes account from a maximum of 5 computers. As long as you have not already done so you can sign into iTunes in your own name and then your 'purchased' file will automatically show up on the computer you are on. Sometimes, if the computer you are doing this on already has a purchased file, the songs will go into the pre-existing purchased file. All you have to do is put the songs onto your mp3 player directly. Note that you cannot send these songs to yourself unless you are signed into iTunes in the same account.
If you downloaded the movie using iTunes, you can do this two ways: 1) Download iTunes on your computer, search for the movie, download it using iTunes (it will be free since you already purchased it), and sync it to your iPod. 2) Go to the other computer and download it to your iPod using iTunes by going to "Movies" and dragging the movie to your iPod under "Devices" (when it is plugged in)

iTunes only allows you to download purchased music once! You have to move the files from the computer you purchased them to your other computer manually, by either burning them to CD or on a pen drive. You'll still need to use iTunes to listen to the files, unless you were lucky enough to purchase DRM Free music.
The songs will still be there on the original computer. If you want to copy your songs to your new computer you are free to do so and it will work without problems. If you are having problems copying the songs from the original computer you may download your already purchased songs again from iTunes on your new computer without an additional charge. (Given that you use the same Apple ID)
