Yes, you can override the one-hour wait time displayed on your radio, but the method to do so may vary depending on the radio model. Typically, this involves accessing the settings or using specific buttons to reset or bypass the wait time. However, it's important to consult the user manual for your specific radio to understand the correct procedure, as overriding safety features may lead to potential issues.
If it states code wait on the radio then you must turn the key to the first click or position in the ignition then allow the vehicle to sit for 1 hour. After 1 hour you will be able to re-enter your code incorrectly up to 3 times before it will state code wait on the radio again.
Leave the unit on for at least an hour, maybe even an hour and a half. 'Code Wait' should go away and you should then be able to input the correct code; only three tries!

When the "code wait" message appears on MGF Radio, it typically indicates that the system is processing or encountering an issue. It's advisable to wait for about 5 to 10 minutes before attempting to reset or turn off the radio. If the message persists beyond that, consider checking the user manual for troubleshooting steps or contacting customer support for further assistance.
The message of wait one hour occurred because a wrong passcode was entered into the system. To get rid of the message you will need to leave the radio on and uninterrupted for the one hour. The radio will then reset itself and will be fine again.
