Absolutely. Heavy distortion on electric guitars, while often characteristic of Rock Music, is not a requirement. For good examples, you can listen to lots of stuff by Led Zeppelin, Boston, and the Who, to say nothing of the original run of MTV's "Unplugged" series of concerts with Nirvana, Alice in Chains, and other artists. For a flashier example, check out Eddie Van Halen's "Spanish Fly," an acoustic guitar solo on Van Halen II.
Yes because, the only thing an ampliefier, no mather what kind of amplier, is amplifing the input signal. In other words, the amplifier doesn't care if the input sound waves come from a microphone or a guitar, it can't really tell the difference. The only thing that might go wrong is the sound beiing not of bery good quality because the amp is optimised for acoustic Guitars so I don't know what kind of sound you are going to get out of it.
Yes. The Electric Guitar and acoustic guitar are played essentially the same way (I've never seen an acoustic with a whammy bar, but you don't have to use it on an electric either).
