Yes, you can regulate your periods even when your tubes are tied - having your tubes tied only acts to prevent sperm reaching an egg when released during ovulation, your body still responds the same way as before so you will still ovulate and menstruate as normal.
You can regulate your cycles by making sure you're healthy - balanced diet, daily supplement's, avoid stress, sleep well, exercise - also by using daily herbal treatments like chaste tree or evening primrose oil, and using lunaception to regulate when you ovulate. If these methods don't work then it's a good idea to talk to your doctor about investigating why your cycles are irregular, looking at treatment methods. Avoid going on the pill, this suppresses cycles rather than regulates them, although you get a regular bleed it's not the same as a regular period and is an unnecessary risk.
Missed period tubes are tied
If a woman gets her tubes tied (tubal ligation) she will not be able to get pregnant, but she will still menstruate (have her period). In a tubal ligation the fallopian tubes trhat carry the egg from the ovary to the uterus are cut, but the ovaries themselves aren't removed. Since the ovaries are still producing hormones, the walls of the uterus will continue to cycle through its changes, and a period will occur.
can you take clomid while your tubes tied
Tubes clipped - Fallopian tubes are clipped and it is reversible. Tubes cauterized (burned) - Tubes are burned (not reversible). Tubes tied - Doctors don't do this procedure that often, but it is what it is, your fallopian tubes are tied. (reversible but with difficulty and lower success rate)

menopause
A woman's period is tied to the growth of lining in the womb, which is controlled by hormones produced by the ovaries. Even though the egg cannot reach the womb after the tubes are tied, the hormones controlling the cycle are still produced, so the cycle should still be regular.

You will still menstruate when you have your tubes tied because your menstrual cycle is still working as it would normally and your uterus is still present. You may experience some irregular bleeding if you're close to menopause or for a few days after your tubes are tied as a result of surgery. If irregular bleeding continues then you need to go talk to your doctor to find out why this is happening.

I guess it wasnt my time yet
Getting my tubes tied did not make my period any heavier. It did make it a bit irregular. I used to have it same day every month like clockwork. Now it comes 2 days to a week early every month.
i have had my tubes tied for five years and i have never missed my period and it has never been late i had a mri done last year and it showed that i had a cyst is it possible that my period this month was brown and only lasted for two days because of the tubes being tied or because of the cyst or could i be pregnent?
