low idle when cold but it goes normal in few minutes
It is possible, but not very common.
The VK commodore was available with two 6cyl engines, the traditional 3.3 (202) carburetter model and a 3.3 efi engine which was fuel injected and was only released with the vk as it was replaced by the Nissan engine in the vl. There was also 2 v8 engines on offer, then standard 5ltr v8 and the sports V5H 5ltr engine. So a base vk will have a carbie 202 as standard.

The PW4000 turbofan engines can produce visible smoke primarily due to incomplete combustion of fuel, which can result from factors like engine design, operational conditions, or maintenance issues. Additionally, oil leakage into the combustion chamber or the use of lower-quality fuel can contribute to increased smoke emissions. While smoke is often more pronounced during takeoff and high power settings, it can also indicate potential engine problems requiring attention.
like all EFI engines, injectors become cloged with varnish-lime stuff. they have to be taken out and cleaned with a special macine for cleaning injectors.
YES, They are the same engines. There's NO difference what so ever.
Yes, injected engines do not use a traditional carburetor. EFI gas engines do not have a carburetor, and diesel engines do not use a carburetor.
The intake gaskets are none to leak antifreeze. It is a real common problem with the vortec engines. Other then that there goods engines and have really no other problems.
v8 EFI engines 35 to 45 psi
Mercury Marine began producing outboard motors with electronic fuel injection (EFI) technology in 1989. This innovation allowed for improved fuel efficiency and performance in their engines. EFI has since become a standard feature in many of their outboard models.
Like ALMOST ALL EFI engines, it's in the fuel tank.
Yes , the factory engines in a 1990 Ford F-150 have Electronic Fuel Injection
Common problems for North Star engines include issues with the head gasket, which can lead to coolant leaks and overheating. Additionally, they often experience problems with the ignition system, including faulty spark plugs and coils, resulting in misfires. Oil leaks, particularly around the valve covers, and issues with the timing chain or belt are also frequently reported. These problems can affect overall performance and reliability if not addressed promptly.
If it's just the no. 2, most likely cause would be a bad fuel injector (for EFI engines).
i heard they are bad engines, but that is rumor as far as i know
