mandolins in the 1890s by Orville Gibson , than they made those ES-150s and than finally les pauls where what made them famous.

Hands down Leigh Guitars. Why?Over the years companies such as fender, gibson, ibanez, bc rich and charvel/jackson put out some nice guitars. I have played just about every guitar known to man because I own a music store. Overall the best guitars in the world come from a new company based in California. They are called LEIGH GUITARS. They are the best sounding and playing guitars I have ever played plus the beautiful tonewoods they hand select are amazing. Also the designs are incredible....oh the best part is the price is very affordable too. They are hard to get because the owner makes them one by one. If you can get one , you will be very pleased. I bought one for myself and one for my son and I can truly say they are the best investment I have ever made.
The order of the strings is reversed. And you can buy left handed guitars. I do agree with your answer the strings are reversed, and yes you can buy some guitars left handed if your lucky enough to find one, and if your lucky enough to find a good one. It's really too bad that even today most big guitar companies continue to punish the lefties. I recently wanted to try out a Warwick bass guitar because I've heard they're a really good. When I inquired about trying one out I was told it would have to be a special order made and bought from the Warwick guitar company because I'm left handed. I said to them but what if I do happen to order one and find I don't like it, then what? And why would anyone buy something without trying it out first? So because I'm left handed I feel like I'm being discriminated against at times just because I'm a lefty. Guitar companies need to step up and get with it and start making their guitars more available for lefties! There are a lot more of us out there then ever!!
The BB1200 guitars were made in Australia 2005, less than 90 were ever made.
a gibson i think firebird one of my fave guitars. ever.
There is no "best" rock guitar but the two most famous rock guitars ever and most likely the most succsesful are the Fender Stratocaster and the Gibson Les Paul.
Personal preference you'll get a million different answers. Martin acoustics, D'Aquisto electrics for jazz, Suhr guitars, Tom Anderson guitars, Gibson, Fender Paul Reed Smith, Gretsch, Jackson, G & L. There are a lot of custom hand built guitar builders that spend many hours crafting guitars that cost a fortune because of the price of the materials and hundreds of hours of labour.
Alex and Jack's guitars are called "The Gibson",but Alex is thinking to switch to "The Fender"like Zack < haha that's funny, and way off. This person dosent know he first thing about guitars :) to help you out for the DVD "strate to DVD" atl put out alex used a prs mira all the way there. And who ever answered this 1st its 'Gibson" and "Fender" the is is not in there title,
The guitarists of The Devil Wears Prada currently use various models of Schecter guitars, including the Tempest and, more recently, the Solo-6. In their early years, the band used Gibson guitars (a Les Paul and SG to be exact), but have consistently used Schecter ever since. Their bassist has used Schecter, Fender, and Ibanez basses over the years.
