What is the best electric guitar ever made?

Hands down Leigh Guitars. Why?Over the years companies such as fender, gibson, ibanez, bc rich and charvel/jackson put out some nice guitars. I have played just about every guitar known to man because I own a music store. Overall the best guitars in the world come from a new company based in California. They are called LEIGH GUITARS. They are the best sounding and playing guitars I have ever played plus the beautiful tonewoods they hand select are amazing. Also the designs are incredible....oh the best part is the price is very affordable too.They are hard to get because the owner makes them one by one. If you can get one , you will be very pleased. I bought one for myself and one for my son and I can truly say they are the best investment I have ever made.

It's really a matter of opinion, depending on what kind of sound you want. Some are partial to the Fender Stratocaster, others to the Gibson Les Paul. For the money, I'd say that the best electric guitar you could get would be the Fender Stratocaster HSS, because it can sound like a Stratocaster, like a Les Paul, and everything inbetween.

unknown companies that only hand make a couple hundred guitars a year, one that came up a lot was Canadian guitars called Lado. But a lot of luthiers (guitar builders) like Ed Roman and so on will say the same thing about small companies.

theres a world outside Gibson and Ibanez, shape isn't really anything but comfort I've found through playing about several years.

As a guitar player I will recomend Gibson Les Paul for the sound of it.

Ultimately, it is the one that suits you best. You will find lots of discussion about build quality, sound, history materials etc. but, in the end, a guitar is an instrument for playing and the only real way to find the best for you is to try lots.

There are quite a few popular electric guitars such as, Gibson, Les Pauls used by the likes of jimmy page of Led Zeppelin or Gibson sg's witch are used by angus young of ac/dc then there are Fender electric guitars like a Fender telecaster used by Bruce springsteen and there are Fender stratocasters used by jimmy Hendrix,Jeff beck or mark knopler from the direstraits.those are probably the most popular guitars.
