Michael Jackson played the scarecrow in the 1978 movie musical "The Wiz" a motown-inspired musical based on The Wizard Of Oz. He also played Captain Eo in the 1987 3D movie that was played in Disney Theme Parks up until the mid 90s. He has made several long form movies himself in the form of Music Videos for Thriller, Bad, Smooth Criminal, and Ghosts, and the home video Moonwalker. He will soon be in theatres again as rehearsal footage for his planned concerts at the O2 arena are being made into a movie for theatres.
