I haven'y been able to find a referance to any incident between Roger and Jimi, however at the Monteray Pop Festival, Pete towsend had words with Jimi over who would play last. The argument was about the destruction of Guitars; ie... who would do it first and who would be a copycat. Jimi went last and set his on fire and thus still upstageibg The Who. I heard today that thatperformance will be released on DVD in it's entirety on the seventeenth of Oct.
